Dr. Sinan Khaddaj is Secretary General of the NGO Women And Health Alliance (WAHA) International. He is a general surgeon and has spent fifteen years of his career working on and developing health programs in Asian and African countries that are victims of natural disasters or conflict-affected. Prior to participating in the WAHA International Foundation, he crossed the path of Doctors Without Borders in the field and at the headquarters, where he held positions as the referral physician for the surgical center and then Communication and Fundraising Director. Since it was created, the main objective of WAHA International has been to provide high-quality maternal care and treat postpartum complications in poor and low-income communities all over the world. The association works in Guinea and Liberia in the fight against Ebola and also develops innovative systems to strengthen health systems in developing countries.
