Mohamed Ould Tolba, Chief Agricultural Economist at the African Development Bank (AfDB), joined this institution in 2000. He has conducted several missions (Tunisia, Madagascar, Cameroon, Rwanda, Burundi, Benin, Niger) and contributed to designing and implementing several projects in the agricultural and rural sectors. Prior to joining AfDB, he worked as an agricultural specialist at the World Bank Nouakchott Office from 1996 to 2000. During this period, he assisted the Ministry of Rural Development in Mauritania.
