Jean-François Riffaud is an expert in humanitarian and development policies at international level and a specialist in influence and mobilization strategies to the service of public interest. His career always focused on public and international affairs and has led him to lead the activities of the international NGO Action Against Hunger (since June 2019), after having been its Director of Development and Communication. For 9 years, he was Director of Resource Development and Communication for the French Red Cross. Previously, he participated directly in the creation of the French National Blood Service (EFS), as Chief of Staff to the President, then as Director of International Affairs and Communications. Holder of a DEA in International Economic and Development Law (Paris V University), he shared his early career between Radio France Internationale and the French Embassy in Lebanon. He is a board member of France générosités and of the Institute of Directors of Associations and Foundations (IDAF).
