Anna is an advisor with the Programme for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (PEEB) where she works to promote sustainable buildings both internationally and in Senegal. As a researcher and advisor for the International Institute for Sustainable Development, she published on fossil fuel subsidies, energy access and renewable energy. She supported the German Ministry of Development Cooperation as an advisor for sustainable energy. In Rwanda, she worked with entrepreneurs on innovative financing approaches for small hydro power plants and off-grid solar for the Energising Development programme. She started her career with the International Red Cross in Geneva and studied political science and climate change at the University of Sussex, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen and IEP Rennes.
