Originally from Mali in the Mopti region, Adam DICKO is a social entrepreneur and activist.
Passionate about governance issues and citizen participation of young people, she quickly embraces associative life, member of the Youth Advisory board of the African Union, She actively participates at the national and international level, in exchange meetings, decision-making and advocacy for young people in the Sahel on issues of citizen engagement.
Concerned about the populations’ access to basic social mistreatment, to consolidate the achievements of democracy and the civic engagement of young people, Adam and other committed young people created AJCAD in 2014. Since its creation, this organization influences public policies, participates in the defence of the rights of populations and cultivates an active citizenship among young people.
Through her organization, she organizes young people at the community level by giving them the capacities necessary for their participation in public and political life. Its field of action is inclusive governance, in particular the citizen participation of young people and women in decision-making bodies, the fight against corruption through access to administrative documents and public services, citizen observation of the electoral process. through election observation.
Adam actively participates with other opinion leaders in citizen observation and analysis of political life in the Sahel as an actor in civil society.
