

Romain André holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Actions Abroad. He joined AFD’s agency in Burkina Faso in 2007, where he was responsible for monitoring operations in social sectors and for global budget support. He returned to AFD’s headquarters in 2009, where he worked for three years on developing aspects related to “change management” and “capacity building support” in operations. In 2012, he joined the Health and Social Protection Division, where he handles operations in Afghanistan, Liberia, Mali, Togo and Tunisia. He is also an expert on demographic issues and the use of digital technology in the health sector.
