Biography

Currently Special envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for the Horn of Africa, Parfait Onanga-Anyanga has been working at the UN since 1998. He has notably served as Director of the Office of the UN Deputy Secretary-General and Head of the UN Office in Burundi, as well as Coordinator of the UN Headquarters Response to the Boko Haram crisis.
