Nadine Poupart joined Agence française de développement (French Development Agency) in 2015 as Social Protection Coordinator and Task Team Leader. Prior to this position, she was Human Development Coordinator and Senior Economist at the World Bank where she spent over twenty years conducting policy dialogue and managing projects, technical assistance programs and analytical work in the fields of social protection, labor, poverty, health, education and community development. Nadine Poupart has worked on a variety of social protection themes: strategies and systems, targeting, energy subsidies, cash transfer programs, labor intensive public works, social insurance, age-care, etc. She holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the Paris 2 University, France.
