Moussa Alassane Diallo, 60, was appointed Managing Director and Chairman of the National Agricultural Development Bank of Mali (BNDA) in 2006, under the government of President Amadou Toumani Touré. In 2013, he was reappointed for six years by President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. He has spent his entire career at BNDA, initially as branch manager, then credit manager. In 2006, he took over as Managing Director and Chairman from Moussa Kalifa Traoré, former advisor to the former Prime Minister Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. Moussa Alassane Diallo has steered BNDA through the turmoil caused by the political crisis in Mali in 2012, with a military coup and the secession of three regions in Northern Mali.
