Michael Siegel is Policy and Campaigning Officer at Oxfam since October 2015. Currently specialised in development cooperation at Oxfam France, he was previously in charge of Oxfam International’s advocacy on the occupied Palestinian territory and Israel whilst based in the Jerusalem office.

Michael graduated from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Lille in 2010 and joined the French Embassy in Zambia and then a local NGO in Guatemala. He later specialised in advocacy and communications for NGOs whilst working in PR consultancy firms in London.

Before joining Oxfam, Michael was the Advocacy and External Relations Manager at the NGO, Secours Islamique France and carried out field visits to the Philippines, Lebanon and Israel / Palestine between 2013 and 2015.
