Martin Leménager has been working for 15 years in the water and development sector. He joined the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in 2012 to work as a Task Team Leader in the Water and Sanitation division. He is a highly qualified multidisciplinary engineer (Ecole Centrale Paris) holding a complementary executive master degree in water management (AgroParisTech ENGREF). He started his career in France as head of the technical department in a water utility operational business unit. With a development NGO, in Laos, he then conducted various assignments, as project manager, technical assistant and expert, close to the field. Today, he is in charge of the oversight of water and sanitation projects, especially in DRC, Congo river basin, Bolivia, West Indies and Martinique. He also supervised projects in Nigeria, India and Indonesia.
