Marie-Cecile Naves holds a PhD in Political Science. She works on gender, education, sport issues, and on the US.
Before being adviser to Najat Vallaud-Belkacem at the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research between 2015 and 2017, she was project manager for France Stratégie between 2010 and 2015. She has the same role today in the Conférence des Présidents d’Université.
She co-wrote with François Taddei the report A Plan to Co-build a Learning Society, and co-designed two MOOCs in collaboration with the CRI Paris about the “Learning Planet”.
She is also Research Director for the Sport and Citizenship think tank, and she has been teaching in business schools and universities since 1999.

Peace is no more a matter for men only than is war. Women are extremely active agents in peace processes, never simply resigning themselves to becoming passive, silent victims.
