

Laura Brimont joined IDDRI in May 2015 as a researcher for the New Prosperity program to work on alternative indicators to GDP and on the issues of collaborative mobility.
Laura holds a Ph.D. in Economics and graduated in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris. Prior to joining IDDRI, she worked for 5 years on the issues of deforestation in tropical countries, particularly in Cameroon and Madagascar. Her thesis research (AgroParisTech/CIRAD) focused on the cost of the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) mechanism in Madagascar.
