Henrieke Max holds an MSc in Sociology from the University of Oxford and a BA in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen. She has also studied at Sciences Po’s Middle Eastern and Mediterranean College of Menton. Henrieke has been engaged in research on migration and ethnic discrimination at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and the German Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB). In 2015, she was a main organizer of the Women’s International Leadership Conference (WIL). Currently, she is a Carlo-Schmid-Fellow at the European headquarters of the International Rescue Committee in London. Henrieke Max is a project manager of Global Colleagues, a global one-to-one partnership program of poverty scholars from the Global North and South.
