Journalist and filmmaker Guillaume Pitron has authored over a hundred reports, investigations and documentaries in over forty different countries. He holds a post-graduate law degree from the University of Paris and a Master’s degree in international law from Georgetown University. He is a contributor to Le Monde diplomatique, Geo and National Geographic. He specializes in the geopolitics of commodities and has been awarded 14 French and international awards, including the Erik Izraelewicz Economic Survey Award. In 2018, after 6 years of investigation, he published his book, The Rare Metals War – The Dark Side of Energy Transition and Digitalization (Editions LLL).
