A former student of the Ecole normale supérieure, a graduate of INALCO (Langues O ’), Guillaume GIROIR is professor of geography and director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Orléans. Through an empirical (numerous field surveys) and theoretical approach, he explores the question of sustainable development in China from a territorial point of view. He has disseminated his work through numerous conferences and publications in France and abroad. He is currently writing a book on this issue.
