Biography

Guillaume Bouveyron works in the Crisis and Conflict Unit of Agence Française de Développement and has been responsible for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) since 2018. He studied at Jean Moulin University in Lyon and has degrees in Climatology (2001) and Disaster Risk Reduction (2003).

Guillaume worked for the French Red Cross from 2005 to 2014 as DRR project coordinator on the island of Grenada, then in Colombia. He then became manager of the DRR and Climate Change department in Paris before becoming regional officer in Thailand covering these issues for southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Guillaume then worked for two years in Madagascar and then in Rwanda.
