

Gilles Berhault, 55, has been President of Comité 21, the French Committee for the Environment and Sustainable Development set up in 1995, since June 2010. He is also Deputy Director General of the Association of Communication and Information for Sustainable Development (ACIDD), which he founded in 2002. He is a lecturer and consultant and was also advisor to the Sustainable Development Department of Institut Télécom. This former man of the theatre and communication is Vice-President of European Partners for the Environment and a Director of Clean TuesdayConvergence. He chairs the Steering Committee of Club France Rio +20 and is a member of the Office of the National CSR Platform. In the 2000s, he founded the ICT21 and Green and Connected Cities forums and is the author of Développement durable 2.0 (Editions de l’Aube, Paris, 2010) and Propriétaire ou Artiste ? Manifeste pour une écologie de l’être (Editions de l’Aube, Paris, 2013). He contributed to the joint publication Métamorphoses numériques (Gallimard, Paris, 2014) and co-edited Nouveaux mythes, nouveaux imaginaires pour un monde durable (Les Petits Matins 2015).
