Eva Sow Ebion has been a member of CTIC Dakar since 2012. She was initially responsible for business development and provided support to high-growth companies to contribute to their development. She subsequently handled all the communication activities of CTIC and incubated companies for over two years. Eva Sow Ebion organized some thirty technological events for the incubator.
Eva is currently Business Development Manager and assists incubated companies with their strategies and in ensuring their growth is more effective. She also has the challenge of structuring companies at CTIC Dakar as effectively as possible. In this context, she assists incubated companies with their strategic reflection, their development plans, their commercial approach, and with the implementation and evaluation of the strategies which are developed.
Eva is French of Senegalo-Cape Verde origin and grew up in West Africa. She has a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Panthéon La Sorbonne in Paris and a Master’s in Art and Communication from the University of Toulouse le Mirail. She subsequently studied for a certificate in Human Resources and Communication in Montreal and worked as a communication officer for the magazine “Diplomat Investissement”. She went on to discover a passion as a social actor when she joined “Mobilisation Enfants du Monde”, an NGO in Quebec. Building on all these experiences, she returned to Senegal in 2010.
She has developed a real expertise in terms of innovative solutions. Eva Sow Ebion is a member of several selection panels and a mentor during various challenges, such as the “Start-up week-ends”, the “Tekki48”, the “Hackathon” and the “Code Camps”. CTIC Dakar is currently supporting 91 SMEs, coaching 2,250 project initiators and organizing over 115 events.
