Erwan Le Quentrec is a manager in the Sociology and Economics of Networks and Services (SENSE) Department of Orange Labs. He leads a team of researchers specialized in the role and impacts of ICT in various fields: education and vocational training, work, health, customer relations management. In addition to his management activities, he coordinates collaborative innovation in the education sector for the Africa, Middle East (AMEA) region. His activity aims to structure, implement and evaluate experiments in the field of mobile learning with partners such as Agence Française de Développement, USAID, Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, NGOs such as Aide et Action, PlaNet Finance, RAES, Orange subsidiaries (Orange Madagascar, DRC, Mali, Cameroon, etc.), as well as universities and companies/start-ups. He is an expert in the uses related to ICTs and digital footprints. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Burgundy (IREDU, Institute for Research in the Sociology and Economics of Education). Since 2001, he has held various positions in Orange Group in the fields of research, marketing and strategic studies and customer relations. He also has lecturing activities and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Francophone Institute for Knowledge Engineering and Distance Education (IFIC), one of the seven international projects managed by Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. He represents Orange Group at the Teachers Task Force for Education for All (EFA), whose secretariat is housed at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris.
