ZOURE David Marcel Koussoyi is an architect and urban planner, head of Agence BEAU CONCEPT, an architecture and urban planning firm based in Ouagadougou. He also teaches at an architecture school in Bobo Dioulasso. He enriched his knowledge with a master in environmental management. With this profile, he addresses the issues of inhabited spaces, experienced under a winning duality between man and nature. In 2019, he led the development of green cities guidelines of Burkina Faso. Being part of the first cohort « Sahelien.ne.s 2040 » initiated by AFD, where he discovers new ways of learning, co-construction and re-creation. It was then that he found the strength to bring a project to life. So, In September 2021, with other professionals, he created the association “Initiative BF 2050” which deals with interactions between nature and human settlements in a forward-looking approach to 2050.
