Céline Gilquin has been DHead of the Water and Sanitation Division at Agence Française de Développement (AFD) since August 2016. She was previously in charge of supervising projects in various Sub-Saharan African countries, in South Asia and in the French overseas territories. She is also an expert on the issue of financing the water and sanitation sector. Prior to joining AFD in 2005, Céline worked in an investment bank for five years. She is an agricultural engineer, an engineer in Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry and holds a Masters in Finance.
