Baptiste Perrissin Fabert graduated in Social Sciences from the Ecole Normale Supérieure and as an engineer from the Ponts, des Eaux et des Forêts. He is a Sustainable Development Economist at France Stratégie.
His research focuses on greening finance, carbon pricing, the energy and ecological transition and the climate negotiations. He was a researcher at CIRED from 2010 to 2013, where he defended a doctor thesis on the social value of carbon and the financing of climate policies. From 2014 to 2016, he was subsequently a Climate Economist at the General Commission on Sustainable Development at the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea.
He was co-rapporteur of the mission entrusted by Ségolène Royal to Pascal Canfin, Alain Grandjean and Gérard Mestrallet on carbon pricing.
